How do i get money through the internet from a credit card number?

I obtained the credit card number of a friend who traveled to spain in order to be able to buy a bunch of stuff that he wants,the problem is that his card doesn't have our address from university but apparently the one from his old house,my dilemma is that i can't reach him and ask him which was it. Do you know any way of being able to buy without using the address or SSN because i obviously don't know that???????

No, and thank goodness. Otherwise anybody could steal a credit card number and purchase goods easily without authorization. if you have a legitimate need, and if he'd approve, then you'll just have to wait until you can reach him.
Reply:Sounds odd to me... of course the store will ask you to prove that you are authorized to use this card, and the simplest way to do that is to ask something only the cardholder could verify (and share with the people he chooses to authorize).





If your friend trusts you enough to give you his card, certainly you trust him enough to pay you back? Why not just charge the items to YOUR card and have him pay you in cash when he returns?





You can CLAIM your friend gave you permission - but I only have your word (the word of a total stranger) on that. If I were an online store I'd request some proof, too.
