Does the Nintendo charge money to browse internet with the Wii or do I need an ISP?

I know the Wii can be used as a browser like a computer. I just wanna know if I need an ISP or if Nintendo charges for it. Also does it hook up to a modem (cable or dsl?) or does it hook up directly to the phone/cable outlet?

It should charge you a one time fee of $5, but afterwards, its connects to the wifi in your house and you can browse as much as you like
Reply:you need a ISP the wii has built in wifi or you can get the usb ethernet adapter to hook up a ethernet cable running from your Modem or router nintendo does not charge for it
Reply:you need an internet connection. It is added to your ISP bill.
